Itinerary
Fly from Islamabad to Skardu (45 min, weather permitting). Meet your guide and transfer to hotel. Evening visit to Skardu Bazaar and Kharpocho Fort. Overnight in Skardu.
Visit Upper and Lower Kachura Lakes, including a short walk to the famous Shangrila Resort. Evening free for local exploration.
Drive to Shigar (1.5 hrs). Visit Shigar Fort, Amburiq Mosque, and Cold Desert. Evening return to Skardu.
Full-day excursion to Kharmang. Explore Manthokha Waterfall, riverside villages, and enjoy picnic lunch. Drive back to Skardu in evening.
Travel towards Khaplu (3 hrs). Visit Khaplu Palace, Chaqchan Mosque, and enjoy views of Masherbrum Peak. Overnight at Khaplu.
