This 6-day tour takes you deep into Kumrat Valley, one of northern Pakistan’s hidden gems. Surrounded by forests, rivers, and meadows, Kumrat offers a peaceful atmosphere with fewer crowds compared to Hunza and Skardu. Highlights include Jahaz Banda Meadows, Katora Lake, Dojanga waterfalls, and wooden villages along the Panjkora River. A great trip for travelers looking for natural beauty, hiking, and local culture.
Meet your guide in Islamabad. Begin your journey towards Upper Dir, passing through the Swat motorway and scenic valleys. Arrive in Thall by evening and check into a local guesthouse.
Switch to jeeps and drive along the Panjkora River into Kumrat Valley. Explore riverside spots, Dojanga waterfalls, and stay overnight in riverside camping huts.
Take a jeep ride and short trek to reach Jahaz Banda Meadows, one of the most famous attractions of Kumrat. The open meadows surrounded by peaks offer a relaxing stay in camps or lodges.
Hike towards Katora Lake (around 3–4 hours), a crystal-blue alpine lake located above Jahaz Banda. Spend time at the lake, enjoy photography, and return to Jahaz Banda for overnight stay.
