Itinerary

Arrive in Islamabad, meet your guide and group, transfer to hotel, and attend a briefing session on the trek itinerary, permits, and equipment check.

Take a scenic flight over Nanga Parbat to reach Skardu (if weather allows) or drive on the Karakoram Highway. Rest and explore the town.

A buffer day for acclimatization, final packing, and exploring Skardu’s bazaars, forts, and lakes.

Journey by jeep to Askole, the last inhabited village before the trek begins. Meet porters and staff. Overnight camping.

Walk alongside the Braldu River and then Baltoro Glacier, camping at Jhola, Paiyu, and Khoburtse. Beautiful rock formations, peaks, and glacial terrain dominate the route.

Trek to Urdukas, one of the most scenic campsites, offering sweeping views of Trango Towers and other granite spires.

Cross glacial terrain, passing Goro camps to reach Concordia — “the throne room of the mountain gods.” Acclimatization day included.

Hike to K2 Base Camp (5,150 m), explore the area, and return to Concordia. Stunning views of K2 and Broad Peak.

Move towards Gondogoro La approach, camping at Ali Camp at the base of the pass. Safety briefing for pass crossing.

Start pre-dawn to climb Gondogoro La (5,585 m). From the top, see K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrums, and Masherbrum in a single panorama. Descend into the Hushe Valley.

Trek through high alpine meadows and descend to Hushe village. Enjoy changing landscapes from glaciers to green valleys.

Travel by jeep from Hushe to Skardu. Overnight at hotel.

Fly back to Islamabad (or drive if flights are cancelled). Free time for shopping and cultural exploration.

Transfer to airport for international departure.
