The Four 8000m Base Camps Trek is a rare adventure that takes you to the legendary Concordia, known as the “throne room of the mountain gods.” In just 20 days, trekkers experience the base camps of four of the world’s highest peaks: K2 (8,611m), Broad Peak (8,051m), and Gasherbrum I & II (8,080m and 8,035m). The journey follows the Baltoro Glacier, one of the largest outside the polar regions, into the heart of the Karakoram. It is a demanding trek, offering raw wilderness, towering granite spires, and immense glaciers, making it one of the most rewarding mountain experiences on earth.

Itinerary

Arrive in Islamabad, transfer to hotel, meet your guide, and attend a briefing session. Equipment check and permit arrangements.

Fly to Skardu with views of Nanga Parbat, or travel by Karakoram Highway if weather does not permit. Overnight stay in Skardu.

Rest and acclimatization day. Explore Skardu town, forts, and lakes, while finalizing trek preparations.

Jeep ride through the Braldu Gorge to Askole village. Meet porters and begin trek preparations.

Follow the Braldu River and enter Baltoro Glacier. Trek past Jhola and Paiyu, camping at scenic sites before reaching Urdukas.

Trek across rugged glacier terrain, passing the impressive Trango Towers and other granite spires. Overnight at Goro II with spectacular views.

Arrive at Concordia, a natural amphitheater surrounded by K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrums, and many other giants.

Hike to K2 Base Camp (5,150 m), the highlight of the journey. Return to Concordia for overnight stay.

Trek into the upper Baltoro towards Gasherbrum Base Camps. Camp in front of the Gasherbrum peaks.

Trek back to Concordia and enjoy final panoramic views before descending.

Retrace steps via Goro, Urdukas, and Paiyu camps, enjoying changing perspectives of the mountains.

Return trek to Askole, followed by jeep transfer to Skardu. Overnight in hotel.

Fly (or drive via KKH) back to Islamabad. Free time for sightseeing and shopping.

Transfer to airport for international departure.
