Itinerary

Arrive at Islamabad International Airport, where our team welcomes you. After rest and briefing, you’ll have time to explore the capital and prepare for the expedition.

Take the spectacular flight to Skardu (weather permitting) or travel the Karakoram Highway by road. Both routes offer unforgettable views of the Himalayan and Karakoram ranges.

Meet the support crew, finalize permits, and check expedition gear. Free time for sightseeing in Skardu, including its bazaar and nearby lakes.

Drive along rugged tracks of Shigar Valley to reachAskole, the last village before the Baltoro Glacier. Overnight camp at Askole.

Begin trekking along the Braldu River. Cross suspension bridges and sandy trails with views of towering peaks. Camp at Jhola.

Continue through rocky trails and desert-like landscapes. Paiju offers your first spectacular views of the Trango Towers. Overnight camp.

Spend the day resting, acclimatizing, and preparing porters for the glacier trek. Enjoy breathtaking scenery and short acclimatization hikes.

The trail now enters the Baltoro Glacier. Walk alongside ice formations and dramatic mountain walls. Overnight camp at Khoburtse.

Continue across the glacier with increasing views of the Karakoram giants. Camp at Urdukas, perched high with panoramic scenery.

Follow the icy glacier surface towards Goro II. Here you’ll see Broad Peak rising in the distance along with Masherbrum.

Arrive at Concordia, the "throne room of the gods," where K2, Broad Peak, and the Gasherbrums surround you in all directions.

Move to Broad Peak Base Camp, your home for the next several weeks. The site provides a direct view of the mountain’s massive ridges

  • Camp II (6,200m):Set on mixed snow and rock terrain.
  • Camp III (7,200m):High camp for the summit attempt.Summit dayinvolves a long and strenuous climb across the exposed ridge to the main summit at 8,051m, followed by a careful descent. Weather and acclimatization determine exact timing.

Pack up base camp and begin the trek back, returning to the majestic Concordia site.

Retrace your steps along the Baltoro Glacier to Goro II.

Descend further towards Urdukas, enjoying the changing scenery as you leave the higher glaciers.

Continue back to Paiju camp, now familiar ground with warmer air.

Follow the Braldu River downstream, with easier walking than on the way up.
